About the role

We are seeking a reliable MR Truck Driver / Warehouse Operator (Rural Deliveries) to join our McGrath Hill team, responsible for rural deliveries and supporting warehouse and yard operations.

This is a hands-on, varied role where you’ll be out on the road delivering to rural clients, as well as supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our warehouse and yard. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values safety, efficiency, and doing the job right the first time.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate an MR truck to deliver products to rural customers, including timely loading and unloading of goods
• Use a forklift to safely handle stock and support warehouse and yard operations
• Pick, pack, receive, store, and dispatch stock in line with procedures and documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Process goods inwards and outwards correctly and assist with stocktakes and general warehouse/yard duties as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised work environment always

About you

• Current MR Truck Licence and full Driver’s Licence
• Current Forklift Licence
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork, with a customer-focused approach
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or rural merchandise handling (highly regarded), with strong attention to detail and pride in quality work
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on yard and warehouse work, able to support internal teams and rural clients effectively
